Two senior volunteers were working inside the Spokane County Democrats office Wednesday morning when a man walked in and handed them a piece of paper.  Then, he told him he was ready to blow up the office.  The two women, and a man who later came to help, managed to de-escalate the situation.  But before police responded, the man with the manifesto started a fire inside the office.  The women were unharmed, but the organization’s offices were significantly damaged by the blaze.  The unidentified man making the threat was arrested by the Spokane Police Department after he left the office.  Leaders of the Spokane County Democrats a’re certain the attack was politically motivated.

This is emblematic of the national narrative coming from the White House that has been stoking the flames of hatred and dissent for the past four years.

sociopolitical genocide. I'm gonna keep saying it every time stuff like this happens until it's in everyone's minds. People need to be aware that this is what it's all building up to. We've experienced politically motivated crimes and terror threats already.

I feel surprised that those who blame the "Antifa" for all of the violence have not chimed in on this.

Or they'll go further and blame ANTIFA for political violence by right-wing terrorists because it's always the fault of the radical left no matter what.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Do you think they would really engage in blaming and shaming the victims?

Sadly, you are most likely correct.
