That is not to far from where I live so, yeah apparently there are nazis around here. And I say they can f**k right off.

The group involved are based in Spokane Washington. Should check-in with Kraichgauer whether they are active in his area.

I actually found out about it on reddit and then later saw that just looking up news, so for sure multiple people got them. But yeah probably a good idea for people to stay vigilant about this kind of activity in their area. Seems like the nazis and white supremacists are getting more bold.

But the oracle of truth and other selected critical thinkers who certainly don't have obvious political biases have told me Nazis don't exist, or if they do they're not very common or if they're common the real threat are leftists who engage in civil disobedience while protesting them.

I disagree. The gradual acceptance of Nazi views and hate speech into everyday American culture is a genuine problem. Because the median political centrepoint has shifted so far to the right that VERY extreme right-wing views aren't really that far from the mainstream now, and regarded as relatively normal. They're anything but. In contrast, anything to the left of centre right (not left of centre per se) is denounced as socialism or communism, when again it's anything but. There's a massive lack of political and historical awareness. With some people it's just naivety, with others it's more of a knowing blind spot to perpetuate denial. For leaders, spokesmen, media channels etc. it's a deliberately engineered, misleading double standard.

Writing it off as insignificant is very dangerous indeed. Fascist dictators never start out that way, but they normally make their ideas pretty obvious. Plenty of similarities between Hitler's rise to power and the rhetoric being churned out by some of Trump's more vocal supporters at the moment. But you have to be able to step back and view all of this dispassionately to see it. Can lead a horse to water....

True, I created a thread about that.

In this situation overuse does not apply, the materials have swastika's on them. "Cry Wolf" is causing potential real threats such as this to be dismissed.

In this case, “Nazis” actually means Nazis. Tempus Fugit was likely referring to when some people use the term “Nazi” to refer to everyday, mainstream conservatives.

While it's fair to argue whether there's an overuse of Nazi comparisons to attack other parts of the right in this context it's basically just gaslighting to switch the topic to that in response to actual white supremacist pamphlets with swastikas on them.

You're not an everyday conservative if you're tirelessly lobbying against the entirely apt & totally accurate use of the word nazi.

Don't complain that we're crying wolf about something that's A: actually happening & B: hurting your feelings through passive association with the people spreading nazi propaganda. You are just whining at this point, seriously, if you're not drawing any association between your alt-right kool aid drinking ways & actual fascism, we won't either. Chill out.

It's fair to cry wolf when surrounded by large, lupine-appearing wild dogs even if someone might later insist on splitting hairs and insisting that they had some feral dog ancestry and weren't really wolves.
