^^thank you it would go to me, and KK said he was open to the idea of taking the ashes from me [via the mail] to disperse in mt. Cisco [Kisco?] in NYC. the coroner's officer was wondering why i was doing this, so i explained to her that Walter had a circle of friends who wanted this for him.

Y’all can be assured I’ll be divvied up between Wreck Beach and scattered in the wind at The Spit in Squamish.

i would like to be left atop a funeral pyre but not cremated. let the elements get to me, gently. i called the SC public admin office today but they were closed for MLK day. drat.

Had to google what a funeral pyre was vs assume I knew.

I want my ashes spread at the summit of Mt. Leconte in the Smokies. I've hiked there 19 times since 2012.

I put the email addresses of some of my online friends, with my life insurance papers. A family member or whoever is settling my estate will email the people I've listed, in the event that I can't. Of course I asked their permission first. I'm doing the same for them.

called the public admin's office in SC, she told me that she didn't have the answers yet, they legally have 30 days to make determinations and not enough time has elapsed for them. but based on past experience, other people have collected the urns of the indigent and disposed of them in lieu of the city/county. the cost of getting them from the local mortuary [never the same one, they take turns] can run up to a thousand dollars. if i don't pay them this, they will deposit his ashes in the pacific ocean no later than the first week of february. i hope to find out more soon.

They’re contracted by the state to roast his remains - surely they’ve been paid for that already & they don’t do it in advance for free just hoping someone will pay the bill later, and then they hold the remains for a ransom of $1,000.00 or they’ll toss them in the ocean?

Doesn’t seem right to me.
