The one nation in the Middle East that is allied to both the US, and to Iran, is Iraq. Both Iran, and the US, pressure Iraq to stop playing with the other. But Iraq continues to play with both. So ...I guess if you're either Iran or the US dont go around whacking the other's VIPs on Iraqi soil!

The US MUST have an extradition treaty of some kind with the regime that the US itself set up with post Saddam Iraq. So...I am trying wrap my head around this.

Would we extradite Trump to Bagdad to ...face Iraqi justice? Might the Iraqis themselves turn around and hand him over to Iran?

Alternatively maybe the US could persuade Iraq to try him here in the US. And if found guilty sentence him here in the US.

But ofcourse we only do that after we have taken care of all of the long laundry list of civil and criminal cases Trump already faces here in the US!

Seems ungrateful to me. Trump might have killed their ally's great general, but Trump also abandoned the Kurds (a troublesome minority for both Iraq, and Iran). Iraq ought to be happy about that! Jeeeze!

I don't fancy their chances of getting a result.
But then, Biden might hand him over, now that I think about it. :mrgreen:

Are they offering a reward for information leading to his arrest?

I mean, if he is going to turn our government over to a hoard of thugs and goons, it seems only fair that he be turned over to a government of thugs and goons, too.
