Trump cites the principle of Double Jeopardy, not admitting to the fact that the charges against him this time are different from the charges against him the last time.  He also claims he does not need a lawyer.

He should probably worry more about what comes after impeachment, when his presidential immunity expires.

He is a coward. It has crossed my mind that he might take the easy way out.

Of course he's not. He's never been held accountable for anything in his life.

Confession and repentance?  That would be far easier than multiple criminal trials and civil suits.

No, no.. taking a long walk off a short pier, or perhaps a leap from one of the buildings with his name on them that the banks & taxmen own, or eating the business end of a shotgun - something like that. Although, I suppose he’d opt for letting his car run in a closed garage vs have to deal with any pain.

I think that last part about the reporters noses bleeding before collapsing to the floor should should have been a major clue that it satire.

I'll admit. I bought into it for about two or three sentences.

Not to mention, the idea all through out the article that impeachment is some sort of highly contagious disease.

if trumpy knows what's good for him, he will in the dead of night, before the turnover, flee to a friendly country.

 Yes, I am aware that “The Beaverton,” is a Canadian satire site.

It should be pretty obvious to anyone within a few words or so even if you didn’t already know that.
