We have had corrupte televengelists, and cult leaders.

He is like David Koresh, and some fringe Mormons, and like some Televangelists, and like Smith (founder of Mormonism), in being corrupt and in being promiscuous, and sexually exploiting women. But unlike those he doesnt hide in his sexual promiscuity, but advertises it, like Hugh Heffner. America hasnt really had a religious Hugh Heffner quite like that.
