"NNA - Fifteen members of the Israeli enemy forces opened the separation gate in the Wazzani region, where they combed the area opposite the parks and confiscated 7 cows before their withdrawal, NNA Correspondent said on Sunday."
Cows and bisons can actually produce fertile hybrids; they’re almost same species.
Yeah.
She looks so cute there hanging with her new shaggy friends.
When I first glanced at the story on the brower's news I assumed it was an American farmer, and his missing cow was hanging with American Bison. But I forgot that Europe also has that surviving population of bison in Poland. European bison were once widespread, and are depicted in the Cave Paintings at Lascaux from the Ice Age.
Domestic cattle came from the auroch species of wild cow, but still, they are close to bison. In fact back in the Eighties some American farmers were raising "beefalos" (hybrid bison and beef cattle) that were reported in the TV news as being a new miracle source of beef. Got the impression that it was only a matter of time before beefalos were gonna take over the beef industry. I guess that it never happened.
