So refusing to say "Heil Kemp!" is now a crime in GA.

Well, Ms Cannon was attempting to interupt a democratic process (the signing of the legislation, in this case) and enter an area of the state Capitol building where she was not permitted, where those same actions have been labelled "insurrection" in the media recently (I believe the current United States "Attorney General" has also testified that interrupting a democratic process constitutes "domestic terrorism"[1])...Whether Mr Warnock was "collaberating" with her would be interesting to know, too.

At least there were some brave guards there to protect the life of the Governor during this insurrection attempt...

Quote:
In his response, Garland sought to distinguish between the Jan. 6 attacks and other demonstrations, saying he would define domestic terrorism as “the use of violence or threats of violence in an attempt to disrupt democratic processes,”

No, she was protesting the state taking steps to reduce minority voting.

Those who support racism are engaging in racism by proxy.

And she was black, which further emboldened the Kemp regime to sic their storm troopers on her.

She’s in jail. She protested against her rights being taken away, and now she’s...wait for it...getting her rights taken away.

Now on to Alabama to perform illegal abortions while Gov. Ivey watches.

Any restriction on voting whatsoever (Even being alive) is seen as an attempt to suppress the minority vote.

You shouldn't get a skin color privilege pass to break the law in a democratic country. This no different whatsoever than what happened at the Capitol a few weeks ago except this time the officers did their job and prevented the protestors from entering and disrupting an important meeting. Hats off to them.

The law must be enforced and civility and democracy will only continue when it is done regardless of the skin color, gender, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation of the criminals breaking our laws.

the worst thing about what those crooks in GA and elsewhere are doing, is LYING about their reasons for doing it. a BLIND person can clearly see it is ONLY ABOUT SUPPRESSING THE POC VOTE. the meme of "voter fraud" is itself a fraud.

But without Jim Crow 2.0 Republicans will never hold power again.

We wouldn't want that to happen, would we? 8)

The only benefit to come from this is that identifying the racists on this website has become much easier.

It's pretty telling that the political party of the real Jim Crow laws is the same political party that continues to force the skin color segregation of American schools to keep their own kids from being exposed to what they call a "racial jungle" but yet they have the gall to call their opponents "racists." Oh the disgusting hypocrisy.

The right wing "moral equivalency" crowd has a strange sense of humour... Obviously they consider this knocking on the door tantamount to the Capitol Insurrection which they are openly rewarding by passing this law.

How should people who actively seek to reduce the ability of PoC to express political will be referred? Which euphemism will avoid offending their fragile feelings?

Bigots are worse than murderers, thieves and pedophiles put together.
