NZ's 'backstabbing govt' is 'sucking up to the Chinese dictatorship'

China for years now has been punishing Australia, making an example of Australia to show the world what happens to anyone who dares to criticise it or stop its aggression.

It's punishing Australia for asking for an inquiry into how this virus started – a virus that hit New Zealand, too.

It's punishing us for standing up for freedom in Hong Kong. For standing up for Taiwan. Standing up for the one million Muslim Chinese that China has locked up in concentration camps.

And it’s punishing us for standing up for freedom, and for that Australia has been smashed by China. Our exports banned. Meetings with ministers banned. Two Australians arrested on fake charges of spying. Our soldiers smeared with a doctored photograph sent by China's foreign ministry of an Australian soldier cutting a boy's throat.

And what has New Zealand done while Australia is getting punished for standing up for freedom – including New Zealand’s?

It's sold us out. Blamed us for the dictatorship bullying us.
