The Twitter account of the Nation of Islam was suspended.  The religious movement is led by controversial figure Louis Farrakhan, who has a history of promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories.

The suspension, which took place on Tuesday, seems to have been over the account's criticism of mRNA vaccines, which are used by companies like Moderna and Pfizer to combat COVID-19.

Nation of Islam leader Farrakhan has dubbed the vaccines vials of death and made comparisons to the Kool-Aid used by the infamous "People's Temple" cult of the 1970s.  The Nation of Islam's Rizza Islam is also a major source of vaccine misinformation on social media, as noted by the Anti-Defamation League.

Despite Islamic propaganda, the COVID-19 vaccines do not include any porcine or animal products; but widespread misinformation has made many Muslims wary about getting vaccinated.  Neither do Pfizer nor Moderna use fetal cell lines in the development of their COVID-19 vaccines.

 So why are no Conservatives, Republicans, or Trumpsters complaining about "cancelation" or "censorship" on behalf of Farrakhan or the Nation of Islam?

If this doesn't give people a "WTF?" moment nothing will.

I heard some Catholics were refusing the vaccine because they thought tissue from aborted fetuses were used.

Yes, most vaccine deniers are easy to find

Suggest twitter broaden their account suspension to include the 75 million Americans stupid enough to vote for the crackpot who took anti-malaria tablets to prevent COVID and told the public to inject themselves with Lysol killing several people.

Not surprising.

What happened to 8Kun, Al Jazeera, Breitbart, Gab, GETTR, Fox News, MeWe, Parler, Telegram, and The Daily Stormer?  Do they no longer welcome Conservatives, Republicans, and die-hard Trumpsters?

It was a facetious response.

I am never happy about anyone getting censored. This incident shows that the Covid narrative tops all else.

My questions are not.  I hope to get some honest answers from The Right; but that may be too much to hope for.

For what it's worth Nation of Islam aren't Muslim.

If Joseph Smith knew almost nothing about Christianity but founded Mormonism anyways, that would be roughly how related NoI and similar faiths are to Islam.

5%ers, Moorish Science Temple, NoI, etc are American new religious movements.

You are correct, of course; but I think the word "Islam" in their title is what scares off the Republican  Reich  Right.

I'm sure that's among the reasons. 8)

Ins't that the reason they assassinated Malcolm X for converting to islam? Rather convenient for the FBI given X had virtually been the only black American successful at making black folk economically boycott white businesses

I'd have to look that up. :nerdy:

I'll answer your question in the good faith you fail to extend to others; because under the supposed rules of Twitter, Farrakhan and the NoI should have been suspended months if not years ago for "hate speech" that would have gotten a conservative account banned in a hot second, but it took bad covid info to earn them the ban they should have had coming. I'll leave it to your imagination why a group like NoI would be allowed to spew racist content for years without sanction...
