I like kiwi fruit, which tastes like strawberries without the annoying strawberry flavor.
I find strawberries on the sour side, so not a big fan.
It is eaten with honey, traditionally.
Strawberries with honey?

I don't think I've ever heard of that. But we have sweetened them for desserts.. slice them up and sprinkle with sugar and then use as a topping for cake or ice cream.
Strawberries are quite sweet here when ripe, especially the smaller more wild varieties vs. the frankenfruit ones that are bred to grow 2"+ berries. Those bigger ones are sometimes Also very sweet, but sometimes kind of bland and tasteless. Like other berries, I think they're only on the sour side if they're not quite ripe yet.
