Supremacist white strawberries!
What will they think of next? 
Apparently, they are tougher than non-whites and will be able to cope with climate warming better.
Presumably, it is the white pigment that reflects the sunlight better, hence, keeping the fruit cooler.
If true, they will indeed be superior!

I find strawberries on the sour side, so not a big fan.
Kiwi fruit (Chinese gooseberries) is nice but the skin puts me off, but I might try them again, this summer.

I don't think I've ever heard of that. But we have sweetened them for desserts.. slice them up and sprinkle with sugar and then use as a topping for cake or ice cream.Strawberries are quite sweet here when ripe, especially the smaller more wild varieties vs. the frankenfruit ones that are bred to grow 2"+ berries. Those bigger ones are sometimes Also very sweet, but sometimes kind of bland and tasteless. Like other berries, I think they're only on the sour side if they're not quite ripe yet.

My mother used to marinate them in sugar syrup.
Still, I think they are overpriced and not appealing enough to buy.
I dislike strawberry ice cream and strawberry milk make me want to gag.
Now that I think about it, I don't eat strawberries because I don't really like them.
