 President Kamala Harris

President Joe Biden on Friday (2021-11-19) will temporarily transfer power to Vice President Kamala Harris while he is under anesthesia for a routine colonoscopy.  The nation's first female, first Black, and first South Asian vice president will break yet another barrier when she temporarily steps into the acting role.  Harris will work from her office in the West Wing while Biden is under anesthesia...

I suspect this will trigger a few conspiracy theorists ... and maybe provide Alex Jones with something else to rant about besides gay frogs.

:D Hail to the Chief!

Well at least it's historic and can be an additional new question in Trivial pursuit.

Surprisingly, nobody on the right has freaked out, as far as I know.

I have no doubt if Hillary had won in ‘16, they would be saying “Know your place!” and “Make me a sandwich!”, and angry she didn’t resign herself to being an obedient Stepford wife, like in an old 50s sitcom.

Serious question: have you ever actually met a Republican?

If Hillary won in 2016 the Pizzagate saga would have led to some type of domestic terrorism from Trump's newly formed cheer squad

Well, she does know that her place isn't at the Mexican border, and I hear she makes terrible sandwiches. 8)

He's from Texas. How could he not have?

Then again, nothing in Texas is the same as it is anywhere else.

Well, his descriptions of them make me think he's never actually met one, but then I'm also giving him the benefit of the doubt rather than assuming malicious intent right out of the gate.
