It does look as though Brooks was a racist, based on his FB entries, but this is assuming the reports were accurate.
I don't think they have been verified, since they were deleted, however.

He was probably a racist.

When I said only a nut would make it about race, I was speaking of the “stress of racism” causing the actions of Brooks, supposedly.

It is actually possible that a hatred of white people led to his actions—though this is not a certainty, by any means.

By the way: there is no death penalty in Wisconsin.

I’m guessing the bail guidelines are pretty strict. 5 dead = 5M. Rittenhouse was 2 dead = 2M. Obviously two cases isn’t enough to establish a pattern or prove a theory, but that correlation jumped out at me immediately.

Agreed. At some point people have to responsibility for where they put their pain and anger.

A reality-impairing mental illness could be different but we’re not seeing a trail suggesting any history of that.

I see that accusation made quite regularly (always without any supporting evidence), yet it is other portions of the population who tend to be the most prominent in taking such actions.
