Narcissism & Feminism
How many people have noticed that these two often go together?
Article below on the topic:

IMHO People need to stop buying into bad theories and associations created to serve misogynistic goals. Take the same actions, give them to a man, and give your description then. You won’t suddenly find the actions wonderful, but you won’t be handing out gender based arguments, either. If someone is a narcissist, they are a narcissist, and it has zero to do with feminism.
Reality is we live in world where narcissism is practically celebrated. IMHO It has to do with an excessive celebration of individualism and overly broad definition of “freedom,” at the cost of believing in collective goals and destiny. No one is immune.
As for vacationing in Florida, I would suggest it was "in spite of" different restrictions, not "because of." Florida has FOR DECADES been where New Yorker's go in Winter, for reasons obvious to anyone who lives in the US (ie weather). The photograph is clearly taken outside at a restaurant, and even where there are mask restrictions, they don't apply outside at restaurants. Just that in New York, well, restaurants won't seat you outside in the winter. A whole lot of to-do made from nothing, IMHO. There certainly have been politicians who flouted rules, but I'm not seeing it in this photo as the article claims. Privilege - yes. Not every New Yorker can afford to fly south in the winter.
I'd also like to b*tch for just one moment. I really don't want to hear about the "self-absorbed left" from anyone on the right who refuses to do a dang thing to help control the pandemic or reduce pandemic risk to the vulnerable (not to say that is you, but it probably is the author, and much of the targeted readership). A politician who has done nothing but order take-out may be allowing someone else to take on risk they are avoiding, but they are also supporting restaurants that would have gone under without the increase in take out, and people who might not have been able to pay their rent without the job; consciously making choices that share their good fortune. It's hard to know what the "good" side is and what the "bad" side is. Doing the math in such situations is never completely obvious, and using that as an example in a political hit piece is really weak.
