Brink of war,who profits,who suffers who dies

Well it Is obvious the two superpowers are head to head in a country .That Will certainly be destroyed if it comes to war . This saber rattling upsets economies . Even in a limited confrontation the only winners will be the corporate elite.. Making hand over fist money suppling a war effort to destroy another country . Do these leaders think the common person wants a war. This is a non issue, Both of these leaders know better . No one wants to die but both countries seem intent on heading that direction . Why aren’t these leaders in touch with the common person.
If truley either of these countries represented the people, Then why this activity . Only very incredibly wealthy people and corporations running our governments will make more obscenely vast amounts of more money while people will die.. This just not right , especially in this day and age . If you can sympathize . Please add a post if you wish?

Right now all I can say with certainty is that the people who profit and the people who suffer and die are certainly not the same people.

Jakki, I have come to have the attitude that in their minds we common people are just another consumable resource & resources are mere things and things don't have thoughts.

I don’t think there will be war.

I expect: Russia will just do long distance strikes and the NATO won’t intervene.

It’s like both of these antiquated baby boomer leaders think that war is necessary, and there will be glorious victories .And Will pressure the media to hype these atrocities . And create hero’s out of otherwise murders .
And good guys and bad guys . Their thinking is WW1 and WW2 mentalities . Perhaps a good long stay at a Psyche evaluation facility is in order for them . Sorry just do not like people suffering at the hands Of others .

The media and those who own the media may also profit from war.

Wars between states don't benefit the people who fight them, even historically the benefits only went to a handful of elites who made up the leadership meanwhile the men beneath them who did the labour of their organized violent theft rarely enjoyed more spoils than were needed to sustain operations.

Becoming a monster and being broken and thrown away by more powerful monsters isn't brave or noble. Participating in that doesn't make one a hero anymore than having participated in any other form of violent organized crime makes one a hero.
