US warns Russia could use chemical weapons in Ukraine after Moscow's latest 'conspiracy theory' was echoed by China

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said "we should all be on the lookout for Russia to possibly use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine" after Moscow broadcasted a "conspiracy theory" about the United States, which has since been endorsed by China.

The White House has warned Russia could use chemical weapons in Ukraine after Moscow alleged the United States was developing chemical weapons in the war-torn country.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki hit out at Russia’s “preposterous” claim – which she said had been echoed by Chinese officials - in a series of tweets on Wednesday (local time).

“It the kind of disinformation operation we’ve seen repeatedly from the Russians over the years in Ukraine and in other countries, which have been debunked, and an example of the types of false pretexts we have been warning the Russians would invent,” she said.

“The United States is in full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological Weapons Convention and does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere.”

No doubt Vladolf Putler, cackling madly and twirling his moustache, will sign the order using blood instead of ink, blood extracted from abducted Ukrainian children.

It's no time for mocking.
It's freaking happening here.
Or do you really think almost 2 million Ukrainians just decided to take a trip here for no reason and they all just make up their experiences?

Russians failed their blitzkrieg attempt, completely miscalculated the reaction of both Ukrainians and international community, but they can't give up Ukraine for ideological reasons.
So, terror has become the option.

There is nothing funny about dead children and civilians.Nothing.
I wish I had the money and resources to fund and bring an army of Hillbillies from Arkansas to help Ukraine fight the good fight. We have hunters that can hit a squirrel in the eye with a .22.We are good in the woods. We have plenty of guns and camouflage clothes.
I wish I was there to help instead of sitting helpless and watching it happen.
I wish Putin would drop dead.
But the old saying , wish in one hand and $hit in the other.See which fills up first.
My wishes amount to nothing.

Considering y'all are pushing the narrative of territorial ambitions, I find it contradictory. It's one or the other, but not both.

People from Ukraine are not entering Russia and murdering children.
What would have happened if nobody tried to stop Hitler?

Makes sense that they kill combatants that fight. Others seems like everything else you've seen there -- highly incompetent warfare.

If their mission is to remove the unfriendly government they will be fighting through resistance.

Unfortunately they will have to do more than ask them politely to leave their country.

And next what?
Remove unfriendly government of Poland by rolling artillery through our cities and removing unfriendly Poles in the process because we weren't happy about the idea?
That's what's happening.
A direct assault on a souvereign nation and its people.

And somehow Ukrainians don't want to be friends with a state that shells their cities, even though many speak the same language... wonder why.

Putin's no longer a made up villain. He's achieved genuine evil villain war criminal status now.

If you want to terrorise or depopulate an area (itself a questionable claim to make of Russian forces in Ukraine right now) there are plenty of legal and more effective weapons that will do the trick, with a much lower chance of killing friendlies; weapons that don't also helpfully give various countries yet another casus belli against Russia. It makes no sense for Russia to do this, just as it didn't make sense for Assad to use them when his war was winding down. You don't even have to investigate to know that it's BS war propaganda. The false flag attacks will no doubt come next, just as they did in Syria.

Unless you actually want this war to escalate to the point where nuclear armed powers are fighting each other over such a completely stupid and avoidable conflict, you must take a stand against this propaganda.
