Esper has also stated Trump wanted to withdraw American troops from South Korea, and pull all American embassies from African countries.

Russia doesn't have the same ideological ties to Cuba the Soviet Union did.

i am reminded of that Simpsons episode about the rampaging advertising mascots, and they didn't quit until the whole town collectively and literally turned their backs from them. that is what amuuurica needs to do with the magas.

I am still skeptical. Corroboration would be nice.

Esper had been fired because he had contradicted Trump's moronic ideas, such as wanting to shoot peaceful BLM demonstrators, and had opposed renaming military bases named for Confederate traitors - which Esper had supported - among other things. Considering that Trump has had a bad record when it came to competency and sanity, I'd say Esper's claims are pretty credible. Also, other White House insiders had made similar claims in the past.
Funny that Trump, who had bragged about hiring only the best people, ended up firing them, or accepted their resignations, or had gone to jail.

Instead of parroting this silly boilerplate rejection, why not try reading some of the first-hand reports of Trump's behavior?

There's either a massive conspiracy afoot, where these people are out to get Trump and they're all publishing outright lies, or America narrowly escaped something unimaginably horrifying - and may yet be in line for a second dose of it.
