Yeah. My boomer idols (of classic rock, and classic soul) have suddenly been dropping like flies the last couple or so years. But the rapper Coolio was one of those younger generation idols- leading the kids astray... and who forced me to wring may hands like my parents did about my generation's music.

Actually he was the few rappers I kinda liked a little bit.

So now I feel doubly old!

Gangster's Paradise was the song when I was in middle school, they'd play it 2-3 times in a row every time there was a school dance, everyone just went nuts for it.
