It completely escaped my attention that Julee Cruise passed away on June 9th in Pittsfield Massachusetts, Tragically she is another celebrity who has committed suicide RIP

Her music made the TV series Twin Peaks in the 1990s a massive success. Her voice was unforgettable.

I've never heard her sing until now, she was a great singer

I mostly remember her being a stand-in for Sinead O'Connor when SOC (the scheduled musical guest) refused to appear on an episode of SNL because Andrew Dice Clay was hosting.

Her music was a perfect fit for David Lynch's Twin Peaks series. Rare for artistic talents to work together so completely.

It is sad when the first knowledge of a great talent is the news of their suicide.
