Extraordinary British actor, David Warner, has passed away at age 80. He will be missed.

Indeed. I remember him seeing him in movies since I was a kid. He's one of those actors you take for granted that he'll always be around, because he had always been around.

He was in a lot of the oddball quirky movies I like. I remember in Roger Ebert's review of The Island, him saying something like "when David Warner is the most normal character in a movie, you know you're in trouble".

I knew him as Ras Al Ghul from the DCAU and Nergal from Billy and Mandy.
