When even the Heart of Dixie doesn't want him, it's big.

I'm curious what about his guitar tone he considers radical.

It raises the age old American question of free speech.

He has the right to be...a racist homophobic lying a**hole and an idiot. And our forefathers died for his right to express all of that.

So should he be canceled?

On the other hand its not any government (Fed, or state) that is canceling him.
Its private individuals acting in concert (no pun intended) to boycott him.

And, arguably, that is their right.

Ted Nugent used to come to my hometown to buy custom-made bow-hunting supplies and to practice archery.  While there, he made no bones about being homophobic, racist, and sexist.  He had a few choice words about 'cripples' and 'ret*ds' as well.  The rednecks in that town lapped it all up like thirsty dogs and begged for more.  This was back in the 1970s through 1980s.

Not surprising that more sensible generations are rejecting his crap and insisting on his cancellation.
