My cousin likely knew him. Googled - he had a recurring role on a Netflix show that filmed here called "Chesapeake Shores," that my cousin was the production manager for.
Article I read about the accident says a Honda Element driver turned left in front of him. Fault hasn't been determined yet.. buuuut, almost always when a vehicle turns left in front of a motorcycle it's the car drivers fault 100%. Also seems the driver and this guy may have even known each other through work at a local theatre.
Far too many inattentive drivers kill motorcyclists all the time. Seems to be more and more every year around here. Granted, I think motorcycling is becoming more popular here.. covid saw a lot of bikes sold - one of the only things people could do.. also, with gas prices, some are switching to bikes to save $ vs. driving their trucks/SUV's all Summer.. so there are more and more riders on the road. SOME of them are bad riders - I've seen them - but Most of the time when it's bike vs. car it's the car driver's fault.
