Just another day of how minor disputes get resolved in a country with more guns than people, I guess.

Well ...its because there arent enough guns around. If that guy had been packing heat he woulda plugged the murderer first!

And besides...its the duty of every american to take violence off of the movies screen and place it in the theater seat where it belongs!

I took a 16yo out for a driving lesson in my 6MT car. (manuals are rare here) One of the things I taught him was that sometimes people are going to be jerks on the road about speed or changing lanes etc. Most of the time I move over or give a lot of space, but sometimes, F 'em - they have more expensive paint than me.. downshift and let them tailgate me, maybe brake check the odd a-hole once in a blue moon. Buuuut cross the border into the USA? Neeevvveerrrrr.. way too many road ragers might have guns. Just move over and let them do whatever their a-hole thing is.

Yeah no need for that, the U.S.A is a silly place best to just not go there..., besides if not guns there is also the gross coal rolling where you get a blast of stinky exaust from a truck that they have rigged things up to be able to do on purpose to pedestrians, people on bicycles and sometimes just smaller cars.

And if it's raining, they coast through without slowing down, splashing and spraying anyone in other lanes as well as pedestrians, plus they usually have the major adornments (decals, truck nuts, etc)

I'm no defender of the 2nd Amendment, but I also must think about the anger. What makes a 19-year-old, on a date with his girlfriend, so angry that he lashes out violently like that, with or without a gun, in reaction to such a minor dispute? Anger and its consequences is behind so much of our daily news. It's not uniquely American or even uniquely Western, and seems to be increasing.

either their parents were too physically harsh with them [i've seen that myself] or they were not corrected early on when they first demonstrated antisocial tendencies.
