Manchin is a conservative Democrat, yet even if he had sought re-election, the GOP frontrunner, current governor Jim Justice, has huge leads over him.

In other words, those whose criticism of Manchin is that he's not far enough to the left, a DINO, or a Republican in Democrat clothing, will likely be disappointed come next November.

In fact, if Justice does indeed become the new Senator, WV's entire congressional delegation would be GOP.

Liberals bitching about Manchin being too conservative was always a funny sight to me, like the didn't understand the gift to them he really was, the only Democrat who could win in that state.

Do conservatives do this with Susan Collins?

If he is the No Labels candidate would he hurt the Republican or Democratic nominee more?

I think he would take away from both parties evenly and not to many would for him.

Good question.

I see more people worry about it hurting Biden than it hurting whoever the GOP nominee is.
