See what was said about the second skeleton further down the article where the police in Arizona said "It is not likely related to any criminal case".

Of course not! Is dead! Dead peple do not normally commit crimes.

The obvious unstated question that most readers of the article would ask is..."are these bones the remains of the VICTIMS of a murder?". Victims of a crime. Not the perpetrators. :roll:

So thats why the article is quoting the police when they address that question.
