There was an old lady who swallowed a spider...that wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.

She swallowed the spider to catch the fly...

================

Jesus...here in the West we dont eat still wriggling octopus tentacles, but even if we did...we have knives and forks. I would sliced each piece up and chewed it thoroughly before swallowing... to break up the muscles and nerves.

Who would even eat an octopus anyway?

Utterly revolting!

Baby octopus is quite common here in Australia as a seafood dish. Although they are dead. Octopus is also eaten in a lot of asian countries, even live octopus. I watched them have to eat it on The Amazing Race many years ago, and the tentacles were clinging on to the fork and peoples faces as they tried to eat them. I feel like this is almost worthy of a Darwin Award.

Sad that he died.

Eating San-nakji and Fugu seems like taking part in extreme sports.

Nah, chewing raw octopus is more like chewing rubber than snot. Doesn't really appeal to me much.

I'm just gonna say it: it's sort of challenging to feel sorry for someone who died while eating a live animal.

Read the article, its not actually live. Just so freshly killed and cut up that nerves are still twitching.

Its good. had a small one on top of pasta at an Italian restaurant once.

But its reflexes were long gone. So it didnt fight back.

This.

Looking at the picture it seems like the suction cups were still on? It seems like basic intuitive physics should encourage people not to do this (otherwise just thinning the herd).
