How much does is usually cost (in Canadian dollars) to build a good doomsday shelter?

I'm unable to see it in my area due to a thunderstorm.

I'm too close to the equator to see the aurorae.  I missed the last solar eclipse, too.

(BTW: This is my 60,000th post on WrongPlanet.)

There are quite a few in the Sixty thousands. BabyBird has 65 thousand, and Isabella has 69 thousand.

The top poster WAS Cockney Rebel for a LONG stretch of WP history. He is both prolific and has had a long career at it dating from July 2004, but he was outstripped recently by Equestriola. The later only joined in august of '12 but he obviously posts more per unit time than Cockney.

Equestriola is probably the champ ...with almost 137 thousand posts, with Cockney and Auntblabby probably vying for second place (both at just under 114 thousand).

There used to be a way to check that sorta thing. Arrange the list of WP members by...alphabet, or by when they joined, or by the number of their posts. Dont think that you can do that anymore though.

i never thought i'd have this many posts. anyways, i finally got to see something resembling an aurora early friday morning. purple and green.

Yeah. Just type "memberlists" into that search bar thing.

Fun fact: Mr. "NuttDan" was the FIRST member! He even predated Alex! Wonder whatever became of him?

Its been cloudy here in the DC area. Havent noticed any northern lights.

it had to have been exceptionally powerful to be visible in kansas city, what with all the city lights polluting the dark skies.

Where is My Tinfoil ,Pyramid shaped hat, when it is needed .. Then include being barefoot on Earth soil, to add extra grounding effect . ..

perhaps we can invent that and make some money from marketing it to the wise.

Sane folks wont buy it because of the stigma of wearing "tin foil hats".

So ONLY insane folks will survive this geomagnetic storm! Lol!
