until we know what consciousness is, there is not going to be growing artificial consciousness or download consciousness to computers.

At best we might be able to clone thousands of conscious beings from a single tissue sample but that already happens on a small scale - they are called identical twins.

Good. There are plenty of humans that have no brains, and yet they're running countries and other crap.
