Scrolling down a little in the article we find, under a second headline "Is the Yellowstone National Park supervolcano about to erupt?" -

Is this thread intended to show that an eruption is not about to happen?
That should be made clear in the title.

Of course it's ready to erupt, why shouldn't it be. And then it will cause a mini ice age and many plants and animals will die, and many humans will suffer and die horribly too. So get the Kool-Aid ready for the eruption. And for WWIII. And for the next deadly pandemic. And the 2nd Great Depression.
