Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. has announced a new National Institutes of Health study to determine if there is any connection with between anxiety and psychiatric drugs and violence in the wake of another school shooting.
Kennedy announced the new study on Thursday, one day after Robin Westman, 23, opened fire at Annunciation Catholic School killing two young children and injuring several more, before turning the gun on himself.
Westman described their battle with mental health and suicidal thoughts in their manifesto. It is not clear whether they were on any kind of psychiatric medication.
