I'm not an apologist for her or Biden but I think the US could have had at least sanity, but they choose to bring the circus back to DC. I've never been so embarrassed and ashamed of my country, I admit after Bush jr got re-elected it was embarrassing but that was mild compared to what's going on now.

Poor Kamala suffered more ad hominem attacks during her vice presidency and in her run as presidential candidate > Obama and Biden combined.

One could argue when you hold office, all your private history is open for scrutiny. But the lack of common decency displayed from the MAGAs dredging through her past on matters that had nothing to do with her leadership and blowing them out of proportion are wildly in contrast to defensiveness of MAGA over serious questions posed about their current leadership.

I admire Kamala's toughness and resoluteness, she knew MAGA were playing dirty. I know there must have been times close to the finish line the polls gave her hope, so when she gave her final speech, I could sense her disappointment but she maintained her composure and sent her supporters (of whom a lot were crying) a message of hope to persevere and take the battle back to MAGA in 4 years. It was in my view a very underrated sincere but sad speech, one of the best ever delivered to the American people.
