A current example of the tyranny of leftist-contrived legislation, courtesy of the British state. You can have your kids taken off you here without even having been found guilty of anything:

when someones life is at possible risk, they need to be safer by removing the children temperarily during the time they can be found guilty or proved innocent,it is better than them to be left with them and they were bad,and killed the children.

I'm not sure if it is appropriate under these exact circumstance, as I haven't been following the case, but I can see why the law was put into effect.

"Well, yes, three of their children have already vanished under suspicious circumstances, and the neighbors report that they've been running a woodchipper at 2 AM, but the law says we can't take their remaining child into protective custody until we're absolutely certain..."

Yes it's not really a matter of liberal or conservative. Child protective services usually don't have the staff or the training or just the wisdom to do their job adequately. Sometimes people who should be left alone are harassed. People who request help don't get it. and sometimes people who really should have their children taken away are left alone to abuse them even though the agencies are aware of them and have been to visit them. I don't know about Britain but there have been some horrifying cases like that in America in the last few years resulting in children meeting terrible deaths.

It would be a lot easier to form an opinion if the McCanns had not left their little kids alone. This would be child neglect anywhere in the US. In the light of that I think child protection services should be concerned. BTW As far as the the Portuguese Police are are concerned I've found them to be fair, diligent and very competent.

I'm sure you can. One reason is so that the government has a good supply of kids for politically-favoured minorities to look after:

Well, politics is relevant because the left in this country have an extensive track record of meddling in the lives of individuals. The current government are also noted for expanding summary justice, and ignoring one of the tenets of any free society, that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
