Lindsey Graham dead at 71

He joined the Senate in 2003, replacing Strom Thurmond. Originally a moderate, he had a brief presidential run in 2016, but after Trump took office the first time, he moved sharply to the right.

I don't know about being a "better" place...

But he was a willing part of the cancer known as Trumpism that's been ruining my country lately. He gets no sympathy from me that's for sure.

Let this be a message to every single member of the GOP who has traded any morality/values to prop up Trump: You are not guaranteed to live to be on the other side of this and disavow what you know is wrong.

Lindsey Graham is now eternally tied to the depravity, criminality, cruelty and lawlessness of Donald Trump/MAGA and there's nothing he can ever do about that.

John McCain was married with two different women (not at the same time!), while Lindsey Graham was a "confirmed bachelor" surrounded by gay rumurs. Is there anything pointing in the direction that they were more than friends?
