This is terrible. That teacher should lose his job or at least get penalized heavily. It's sad when a teacher, particularly a teacher who has to teach special ed classes, is this abusive.

I was in special ed for many years of my life. I had a teacher that was a bit abusive. She use to pull my hair, throw me in the closet, pull me when I did wrong and occasionally was physical with me.... I did not speak up until a few years later. When I graduated that school I wrote a report based on my experiences with that teacher. Sadly, they didn't do too much to that teacher but they put what I wrote in her file.

This whole "tenure" thing totally baffles me. It's like these idiots have to murder
or molest someone before anything is done, and even THEN sometimes, they
go easy on them. Disgusting.

My son had a teacher who was emotionally abusing my son, and other boys. I caught
her red-handed one time. The principal was new, and sided with the me and the other
parents, and boy did the teachers and the administration get after him. They stick together
on a lot of this stuff.

OH yeah.....It took all the self control us mom's could muster not to
use a fatality on that #$%&@. Of course when any of us did dress
her down, with her TENURE and all, she would just treat those boys
worse.

I heard later that there were so many complaints about her that they
MOVED HER TO ANOTHER SCHOOL, where she of course got to
emotionally torture yet some more innocent children. It still gets
me fired up all these years just thinking about it. I'm tellin' ya....RAWR!

I have to hand it to that principal. he tried, he really tried to help as much
as he could. The positive thing I see these days is that there are lots of
schools that are adopting a no tolerance for bullies, which is great. That
of course includes the TEACHERS too! :)
