Hi, the Melbourne Cup is on this Tuesday. Who do u think will win?, are u in a sweep? have u won any money so far this Carnival? i actually had a win last weekend on Cox Plate day by betting on El Segundo (go me!) and on Derby Day this weekend by betting on Divine Maddona(yay!) i only put a few dollars on, but it is fun to actually win money instead of lose it.
Anyway it is a more open field this year due to the problems with horse flu, only 2 international horses i think. anyway which horse do u think will win?. could be any one of them.

Buggered if I know. I'm just going to mosey on down to the nearest TAB on Tuesday morning and put a couple of bucks on a horse that looks decent.

We have a family sweep every year, and this year I've drawn Black Tom and Zipping. If they get up, I win a cool 16 bucks.

The old man and I will go to Darling Harbour for lunch, but I won't stay in the city for the race because it's on at 3, and that's when the boys get home from school.

Good luck everyone, hope ya back a winner!

Fat chance. Knowing me, my annual flutter will bring me back nada, niet, zilch, zero, nothing......need I go on?

The old man likes Gallic and Master O'Reilly. I haven't studied the form yet.

Got a couple of half-horses in work's 'Calcutta' (two riders). (Work raffles one half of each horse and auctions the other).

However, until I wander down to the tote on Tuesday and have a quick look at the form guide, I'll be blowed if I know who'll win. I'll put $5 each way on my fancy when I do though (I'm the last of the big spenders :P)

Have not checked any form myself yet but if a 3 or a 4 look good I'll be in.

I am new to racing and only like gallops and trots so making a decision is more superstition than science, lol.

I put $1 each on a win and place for Purple Moon. All in all, I lost 20 cents. My mum bet $2 each way. She lost 40 cents.....
