Wonder if they can find what parts of the brain that determine what we should focus our lives on, that's a matter of relevance as well. Brain research is slow though, there won't be any quick answers or solutions to anything.

Brain research is speeding up thanks to technological progress.

That does look like an interesting study, but it doesn't mean anything without more research.
