keep in mind when reading sensationalist media that GHB is a naturally occuring chemical in the body. Many "precursers" to GHB production are in all kinds of things. Further it is unknown what purpose ghb serves in the body when it is made naturally.

Many of the stories imply that they are putting GHB in this toy, that is definatly misleading.

All that being said... I don't make it a habit of giving my kids chemicals and calling them toys. The basic understanding of what aquadots are should freak you out, GHB precursor is just confirmation that chemical toys aren't the best idea.

The glue involved was 1,4 Butanediol, which, when metabolised in the body, become Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate.
