This whole thing stinks to high heaven. One wonders if this is just an attempt to cut a slice of the Irwin pie.

Yeah, you're probably right. They know that most folks will settle some large amount, no matter what the truth of the matter is, just to get rid of them.

It's like a very unsubtle blackmail.

Sick balding bastards in a suit with a set of pens wanting money off a vulnerable family.

Hmm. This is one of the few animals the Irwins can deal with, I think. They need back-up.

On previous form, Milder & Co will no doubt be exposed as the petty criminals they seem to be. They mustn't be very bright. Picking on a family which enjoys such high public esteem and goodwill? And they're only after a measly 2.5 mill; can't be very ambitious, either.

Steve Irwin's family deserves better than to be treated as prey for the unscrupulous. Unfortunately there's no shortage of people out there waiting to separate the unwary from the contents of their wallets.

Well, the suit includes the Australian Zoo. I hope that someone "connected" to the zoo hasn't framed her or them.
