Wrap made with thin air topic

Dear MrMark:

Could you please send information or a print link for the subject of bubble wrap therapy for Persons living on the Autism Spectrum? My computer does not do audio or video very well.

Regards and thanks,

Sartresue

Sorry, that's all I got. I'm workin' with dial-up, so I didn't look at the video either. Maybe someone will provide us with a brief transcription.

Maybe I missed something?, just looked like a young girl tacked some ordinary bubble wrap tp a peice of material that she hung on the wall, because it feels nice and you can pop the bubbles in a safe enviourment.

That was the impression I got too. She said that her idea was to "stimulate people with autism because they like rubbing their hands on things and the noise of the popping things, and that was a really safe way for them [autistic people] to do that.". She said she got the idea because her mom had told her about s story she'd read in which a mom of an autistic kid had made curtains out of bubble wrap for her child.

The contest that the girl is in, for those who couldn't download the video, is to find more uses for bubble wrap. The announcer mentions that bubble wrap was originally invented in the 1950's as a wallpaper. (Who knew?)

Good ol' Tension Sheets. Weren't they invented by Dave Lister-- I mean Thickie Holden? (Time Slides was a cool episode)

I love popping bubble wrap, but the sound annoys everybody else so I don't get to do it anymore. It really does feel theraputic to do it, though.

The key too....? Please, I've been popping bubble wrap for years. I want a prize for coming up with it, too.

And a safe way to pop bubble wrap? I can honestly say I've never managed to injure myself while popping bubbles. What is her impression of us, I wonder, if she thinks we can't handle popping bubble wrap the old-fashioned way?
