Earlier this year, a guy in the Houston area put his infant daughter in a microwave. Very disturbing.

Is it just me or does it seem like he did a Jeffrey Dahmer in anticipation of copping an insanity plea?

At this point, I don't think it would be a plea. He IS insane, LOL.

The same thing happened last October in new Orleans. The guy seasoned and cooked, but reprtedly didn't eat his girlfriend, partied it up for a while and then jumped to his death from the balcony of a fancy hotel...with a note in his pocket leading police to the grizly scene.

The girl's name was Addie Hall. She was an acquaintance of the person I briefly lived with in New Orleans.

In early November, a decapitated, burned body was found the equivalent of a block from my house (I'm rural-ish).

The area used to be a swamp, but is now the construction site for a big housing development, like every other rural area around me that's not a state park. They've always had trouble attracting buyers, but now it looks like all the pieces are falling into place.

Including the guy's head, which was found a few miles southeast, closer to where I work.

I think they just tried burning him to dispose of the evidence though, not to seal in that natural human flavor (I'm pretty sure we taste more like pork, since pigs are our fellow omnivores and the only other mammals that can get sunburnt)

There was enough evidence to catch the 2 guys who did it though. Apparently 2 high school buddies just decided to embark on a thrill-kill, and murdered some guy in his mid-20s that they both knew.

Any claim he tried using Asperger's Syndrome as a defense would be ripped apart in court in 5 minutes and rightfully so. Not in his wildest dreams could he claim that as a defense.

Jesus Christ, there is little in this world that is worse than killing someone just for fun. They say that only 10% of murders never get solved; I wonder how true that is.

Actually, I heard it's more like mutton.

Taste aside...

This stuff doesn't really shock me anymore. Disgusts me, yes. Sickens me, yes. But shock or surprise me? No.
