Chat rooms aren't for young children anyway and if when teenagers use them they should be supervised by their parents. Even if they chat to a pedophile online or whatever when the parents aren't watching, if they succeed at meeting up with them it's most likely because the parents were too ignorant.

Can't say it's anything but a sensible decision anyway, although it doesn't affect me really. Don't know why so many people use chatrooms for nothing other than sex.

Couldn't agree more. I thought everyone knew young kids should be supervised/monitored online.

Paedo rooms should be deleted by a Yahoo staff member periodically as a matter of course. As for sex chat, I'm baffled myself - its so bloody boring... :roll:
