Please help me with this... I have a pic from a floppy that I would like to use as my avatar..however, it is too large and I do not know how to minimize it...Please assist me, would sure appreciate this! Thanks!

Put in paint and then go to the image thing on the toolbar, then click on Stretch/Skew...then you can shrink it however you desire!

Photobucket has some resizing ability. You upload your pics there, and press the "edit" button. On a slow computer it might be really slow, though.

GIMP is a free graphics editing program, it's available for Windows and Linux, not sure about Mac. It's got a billion features, though, which could be a lot to plow through to resize one image.

If you're still having trouble, try infranview. Shrinking my avatar, I had trouble because the stupid paint thing wouldn't save the picture. I'm not sure why.
