I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Oh sure, Hillary hasn't conceded yet, but Obama's got the delegates so that's just a formality. Now we get to see Obama vs McCain in the fall. Hard-core conservatives must be really pissed to see a moderate like McCain against a far-left guy like Obama. :P

Actually Hilary think about suspending her campaign and dropping out according to CNN.com this weekend after she lose to Obama. Funny thing though my little brother stated yesterday that McCain will win because of Obama and Hilary dang it out to the end which in history when that happened that party lose the presidential election. There are other factors out there that Obama could win the election against McCain.

Well, relative to, say, Huckabee. I'm really not sure where McCain stands on most issues because of his constant flip-flopping. Honestly, Kerry, for all the hype, was never as bad as this, yet McCain has a reputation for "straight talk." :?

You have to love someone who votes against his own Immigration Bills.

And the press doesn't call him on it. It's sort of baffling the love affair that so many people in the 'liberal' media have with this guy. For all the supposed fellatiating that people claim they've given Obama, their coverage of McCain has been especially uncritical.

If Obama gets it hopefully he'll find Osama and end this war of terror.

McCain just pretends to be a Republican. He really isn't. Nor moderate. Nor liberal.

And Obama pretends to be a liberal. He really isn't. I'm sure I'll get flamed for that, but see how much change we actually get when he is elected President. And yes, I said when, not if. That is my prediction... unless something radically unforeseen happens between now and November.

But either way, we'll get the same thing. More inflation, more unpopular war in the Middle East (Obama talks great on bringing the troops home from Iraq, but he won't take anything off the table when it comes to Iran), more big government, more big brother, less freedom.

American politics is nothing but a dog and pony show. The left/right paradigm is a joke. Just keeps the people at each other's throats arguing over football issues, while both parties sell us out on everything that matters. The corporatocracy always spread their bets among multiple horses in the race.

hey, Goatie!

At this point one can only guess what subjects came up. Reasonable guesses would include, among other things: VP talk, finding roles for her supporters/staffers within his general election campaign, and getting help from his vast fundraising resources in retiring her campaign debts.

And no, Senator Obama can't give his contributions to retiring her debt. No presidential PAC can give more than $2,000 to any other candidate for anything. The way this deal is gonna work out is Barack's big donors (and maybe some of us small fry) are gonna make NEW contributions to a Hillary debt-retirement fund.

Old!

But seriously, here he is on the issues. http://www.ontheissues.org/john_mccain.htm

I didn't realize he opposed Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, last I heard he supported them. I'll have to take a closer look at where he stands before November because that was a pleasant surprise.

I hope Barack picks Nancy Pelosi, John Edwards, or Chelsea Clinton (all right, kind of kidding about Chelsea, but it would be funny).

I've already been admonished once this week from a moderator for cursing... so I'd better not say.
