Anybody see DL Hughley on Leno Wednesday night? He went out of his way to talk about how his son who has Asperger Syndrome recently made the dean's list at his college. He was obviously quite proud of the boy, but what struck me was how he seemed to have a real understanding of just what an accomplishment that was for someone with a social disability. He didn't go into any detail for the audience on what AS meant, and he did repeatedly refer to his son as "the kid with the helmet" which I didn't particularly find amusing, but it was refreshing to even hear someone mention Asperger as a high-functioning disability.

I didn't see it, but it's great to see AS portrayed in a positive light.
