And so it begins... there are some in this country who will never accept a black president...

barak obama is a legend if i was american my vote would vote for change and mark on my voting card wud have across in the space of senator barak obama.

only last week and today have there been plots also uncovered to assasinate brittish pm gordon brown.

why wud someone want to kill such a man who came from a poor broken home to rise to such a powerfull position in the world and want to change america for the better. help poor families where these people who themselves shud be punished by the mathew 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth"

^Its actually almost impossible now because after JFK and the attempt on Reagan, the secret service has massively improved along with the protection for the commander in chief. It almost has to be an inside job which more likely won't happened. Also the Secret Service would take the bullet for the President.

Not really that drastic. The first person was picked up over 25 miles away from the convention center, while Mr. Obama was several hundred miles away. It isn't as if the suspect had his finger on the trigger and his target in the crosshairs.

Even the candidates I don't like, I wouldn't want to see them killed. They're actually real human beings with families. They're not just a collectoin of pixels on a computer screen.

I would think the fall out of the assassination of a black American President would be the election of ANOTHER black president. And rightly so.

Who knows. That is a hypothetical, after all. Maybe Obama is the black man's one and only shot at running the nation.

That is a fact. I would think that it would be the appropriate response so as to not capitulate to a murderous interest group. I think the odds would be increased that America would be willing to put up with a less than ideal president, just to make a point.
