Looks a little like the old Monitor, but lacking the superstructure. Horribly unstable in open seas I imagine.

Would it not be cheaper and easier to buy an old sub off the Russians or something? Or would that just be asking for trouble?

Damn, for 190 million dollars + a load I'd be welding up home made subs too. Of course, legalizing would sink this ship in a hurry, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, there's too much money to be made by both sides in the drug wars. It would be funny though if drug law reform ever did happen and the Columbian drug lords had to go into business selling designer submarines to the idle rich, I hear there's good money in that.
