US Debt Clock doesn't have enough digits any more.

The clock posted in New York that displayed the level of national debt in America has to be replaced because it no longer has enough digits to express how extremely f**ked-up our finances are.

Am I the only one who's a bit worried about this?

This strategy works for both economic depressions and zombies.

Anyone who hasn't read Octavia Butler's Parable of The Sower should do so now. It gives a quite grim (yet realistic) picture of America's near future...

I believe you just compared the US goverment to zombies.... actually that's probably a pretty good anology. Sad but true, we're screwed.

Nono. There is a book called ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE
which starts with a fictional but literal description of "zombies"
and the rest of the book is full of somewhat practical and realistic survival information
supposedly for the purpose of effective self-defense against such creatures.

I can't tell whether it is intended as a joke or if the zombie fiction just sugar-coats the book to sell more copies of an otherwise average work of "survivalist doctrine".

No. You aren't the only one worried about this, I think everyone is very worried. It's a very frightening thing...even old ladies trying to commit suicide because they can't pay for their house. It's a really, really, sad time.
