[quote="KBABZ"]Anyone agree with me that, throughout the news in general, there's far too many negative news items? Rape, Shootings, Suicides, Death, Insanity, Bigotry, Controversy, Nega-Aspie News, Beatings...[quote]

That is because the ordinary people find their lifes way boring and meaningless, so they have to stimulate their minds somehow - and so they watch all this crap on telly... Also, humans have the inborn attraction to the suffering of others.. I don't know, maybe they just like to sympathize?

Yay!

ReGi, my reasoning is that on the front page of this Forum, only 13 are either positive or amusing. The other 33 are all negative. It's been many weeks since I found a Newpaper Tagline Article that was positive.

yeah, the media does view the world through negative eyes me thinks, and it sensationalises stories too, to make them seem worse or something different entirely to the reality.

yep, but they don't seem to think that the mood of coworkers has any effect on others. it does,
moods do rub off at work. eg when it nears the end of the day, the whole office cheers up.

I didn't know that it wasn't scientifically proven. I thought it was just common knowledge!
