aaawwwww, the babies with the bottles! It's so sad that their mothers had to abandon them - from the article, it sounds like the mothers normally will avoid doing that at all costs...I hope the moms didn't die in this storm

Aww! So cute! I can't understand why NTs fear bats so much. How could anyone be scared of a cute little face like that.

I have seen bats in the wild several times, once when I was walking my dog a bat choose to keep looking at me. The bat would fly over the farm land and look at me from about 20 meters, it would then fly up and over me and then look from a different angle at me, the bat did this several times before flying off.

I think that bats are cute and should be protected and looked after by humans. I also like dragon flies, when I was a young man I once saw a lovely iridescent blue one flying about. Ever since then I have had a soft spot for them.

I had a wild bat bump into the side of my head. It didn't bite me or even freak me out. I just was like, "Oh look a bat!"

Surprising, that it's sonar didn't tell it you were there. You reminded me of the saying, 'blind as a bat'!
