The kids are essentially innocent, but something horrible should happen to the parents for naming them the way that they did.

I feel sorry for the kid. Through sheer stupidity, they have condemmned a child to a life of prejudice. Funny that when someone rightfully points out that the name is horrid, they make a fuss. Surely they wanted controversy. Grr...

You know what I think is really sad? The ways we humans judge each other then make excuses for our actions. I read somewhere that a Hawaiian kid was named something a bit dumb, I forgot what it was but it was just silly, and the court made the parents change her name.

I agree with you, but it would be an absolute nightmare trying to enforce such legislation.

I forget the country, but a court did not allow a couple to name their kid '4real' because it had a number in it. I am sure that he ruled in favor with the law, but in the back of his head he was being humane to the child.

New Zealand manages it quite well, there it is illegal to register a name that "may cause offence or lead to bullying"

I think it's stupid to discriminate someone based on their name. Adolf Hitler, c'mon it's just a name but that person is dead and the child who has that name, it's not even him. Just someone else who was given that name by his parents. Not something I'd name my own kid though.

i don't believe so, there's a lot of people in the world that go by the name but it's pronounced 'heyzues' (i think).
